By Air: Mazatlan has an international airport that is a gateway city for several national and international airlines including Alaska, Cal Jet Air, US Airways, West Jet, Aeromexico, volaris and viva aerobus.

By Sea: Mazatlan is the largest seaport between Los Angeles and the Panama Canal thas historically been a major destination for Mexican Riviera cruise lines. Although 5 there has been a suspension by the major carriers, a resumption of service is expected soon.

By Land: Mazatlan is located 748 miles south of the Arizona border. Mexico highway 15, which originates in Nogales, Sonora is a 4-lane toll road. While not up to the standards of a US interstate, it is a very good divided highway. While the ambitiousdriver could cover the entire distance in one stretch, most drivers prefer to stop overnight along the way. Major stop-offs include Hermosillo, Obregon, Guaymas-San Carlos, Los Mochis and Culiacan.
